Withdrawal is one of the ways that you can tell if you are addicted. All addicts are usually not proud to be referred as addicts, and they will avoid this by keeping people in the dark. What will make you hide is the guilt and shame. The question is, why must you hide? Don’t your thing stopping the usage can be a better solution? Therefore, if you start hiding so that you take the drugs then you are getting addicted, and the best remedy is to stop.
The next sign of addiction is relationship issues. Don’t expect your loved ones to embrace and support and habit that they regard as bad. You will also start to avoid your family and friends and that will compromise the relationship that you have with them. The drugs will also make you start behaving differently which will be noticed by your friends. You will find difficulty in paying attention and concentrating and thus chances are high you will deliver poor quality work. Moreover, you might start missing to go to work or school. Be sure that when the management learns that you are not productive, you will be fired or demoted. The other sign of addiction is financial challenges. Financial addiction will force you to forgo some of your basic needs. Feeding addiction will subject you to severe financial problems. The next thing to look out for is the physical health condition. You physical appearance will also change that anybody can notice you are using drug. Among the physical changes that you should look out for include red eyes, loss of weight, and constricted pupils.
